Borgo Petrognano is the ideal setting for intimate weddings. We can host up to 60 guests, with an ideal number of around 50 to ensure the best comfort and harmony within the spaces.

How many guests can stay overnight at the property?

The Borgo offers 14 rooms including Double Rooms, Triple Rooms, and Suites, with a total capacity of 33 guests, which can reach up to 37 with the addition of extra beds. This makes it perfect for enjoying the entire wedding weekend together with your closest guests.

Is exclusive use of the Borgo required to celebrate the wedding?

Yes. To ensure complete privacy and impeccable service, all weddings require the exclusive use of the Borgo for a minimum stay of three nights.

Which area of the Borgo is designated for the ceremony?

For symbolic ceremonies, we offer the natural arch, an intimate and timeless setting surrounded by the lush garden overlooking the valley.

For civil ceremonies we recommend the nearby Cappella di San Michele Arcangelo a Semifonte, located about 1.4 km from the Borgo, while religious ceremonies can be held at Chiesa di Sant’Appiano.

Which outdoor spaces are available for the different moments of the wedding?

Borgo Petrognano offers several outdoor areas that can be used according to the different moments of the wedding day. These include the garden overlooking the hills, the terrace with pergola, the spaces around the swimming pool, and the green areas that surround the Borgo.
Each setting can be arranged in a personalized way to host the ceremony, aperitif, dinner, or cake cutting, always in harmony with the character and guidelines of the property.

Is there a backup option in case of adverse weather conditions?

Yes. For groups of up to 35 guests, the indoor restaurant is available as a Plan B option. For larger numbers, it is possible to rent an elegant marquee, which can be arranged in advance through external suppliers.

Do you offer an in house catering service for the wedding day?

Yes. Our in house catering accompanies every moment of the wedding weekend, including the welcome dinner, pizza party, brunch, rehearsal dinner, and of course the wedding reception. The mise en place features a refined country chic style with wooden tables and coordinated chairs. Customizations are available upon request.

What are the rules regarding music and quiet hours?

To preserve the tranquility of the Borgo and the surrounding landscape, music is permitted until 12 midnight. From midnight to 8 am quiet hours are in effect, during which music or loud noise is not allowed. Compliance with current regulations regarding sound levels is also required.

Is a wedding planner or coordination service available?

Yes. We offer a full wedding planning service for couples who would like comprehensive support throughout the entire organization process, as well as a wedding coordination service focused on managing the final details and supervising the day of the event.
